In Grand Bazaar, one of the amusing new options is that of diving into the River to find the occasional item. If you wonder how to catch the items in the water, you do not have to do anything special. When you do find an item, it will be 'caught in your clothing' when you emerge on the shore.
I was aware that one could catch Sea Urchins, Small Coins, Branches, Gold Ore and Ore Stones as well as rubbish items such as Empty Cans but I did not realise one could catch food items until now. Rather to my surprise when diving after a Bazaar, my Character found 'Straight Tea'!
